About This Blog

Welcome to Short-Sighted Discourse, an experiment and evolution, born of longing for the spontaneous, meaningful talks shared with friends throughout the years.  They were talks with a genesis in late nights in design studio, happy hours after work, weekends at cabins, trips to galleries, nights shooting pool, and all the other places we find unexpected, meaningful interaction. Unfortunately no social network can recreate the face-to-face conversation, and distance matters.

My blog pays homage to what was built in the past and to new ideas yet to be examined, whatever fruits those may bring. I cannot expect to have more than what I have right now. If I had no time other than the present to do more with a subject, the least I could offer is to record a thought and start a conversation “knowing how way leads on to way…”
